The Jungle Book Official Big Game Trailer

Watch the brand new trailer for Disney’s The Jungle Book now! See the legend come to life in 3D, Real D 3D, and IMAX 3D on April 15! ????

Directed by Jon Favreau (“Iron Man”), based on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless stories and inspired by Disney’s classic animated film, “The Jungle Book” is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he’s ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera (voice of Ben Kingsley), and the free-spirited bear Baloo (voice of Bill Murray). Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who don’t exactly have his best interests at heart, including Kaa (voice of Scarlett Johansson), a python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking King Louie (voice of Christopher Walken), who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire. The all-star cast also includes Lupita Nyong’o as the voice of the fiercely protective mother wolf Raksha, and Giancarlo Esposito as the voice of wolf pack’s alpha male Akela. “The Jungle Book” seamlessly blends live-action with photorealistic CGI animals and environments, using up-to-the-minute technology and storytelling techniques to immerse audiences in an enchanting and lush world. The wild adventure swings into theaters in 3D on April 15, 2016.

Yes. Potential. Great Potential. This doesn't look like something as ridiculous as Maleficent nor as pointless as Cinderella. Not that neither had good ideas, just that both were poorly executed. This seems it will outrank both by executing what it has set out to do. Obviously, it isn't going to be adapting much from the book, but its going to be much different from the orignal animated film. As it should be. That was just a decent movie as they were focusing too much on capturing Disney's image, while not knowing for sure what he'd want instead of their own vision for that original movie. Though, this movie could still fail.

I don't really think the rating for this movie is supposed to be PG-13 because Disney already sold a movie which was Miyazaki which was PG-13 but I'm pretty sure this is PG.

Alice? Maleficent? Cinderella? Jungle Book? I'm just sitting here, waiting for my bad*** live-action Mulan.

this looks great!! however the only problem i have is it's like i can hear the actors in the booth saying their lines, and that can be a bit distracting

I was unsure about this at first, but now I'm so excited! God, this brings back nostalgia.

A lot of people seem to have a problem with Kaa being voiced Scarlett Johansson. It makes sense, Kaa would lull his victims into a false sense of security, plus it's a celebrity ensemble cast. They literally picked the performer with the most soothingly seductive voice in Hollywood, and she happens to also be a celebrity. Plus, it's not like the gender change of KAA is going to affect the story at all. Please, do yourselves a favor and find something else to worry about.

Baloo looks real, but Bagheera looks like complete shit, sounds like it too. I don't like his voice actor.
