"Kind of" Spoiler Alert (although it so cliche wtf else could you expect from a down on his luck gambling movie) The thing I hate about these movies is that they almost encourage the paychecking robbing fantasy the casinos try to multi-billion dollar casino industry tries to sell…they always end up right after going broke over and over at the last minute they suddenly go on a run that's like hitting the powerball 5x in a row and turn their final 100 bucks they were supposed to use for bus fare into a mil at the casino…naturally when they are already up like half a mil they bet it all (cause why not when ur half a mil just bet it all on one roll and be broke again…but of course in the movies its automatic double up for the "balls" to bet it all…even though the house has the odds and they've already made half a mil from a 100 bucks and dont have to suck dicks for motel money anymore…but meh might as well double it up….hell they shoulda just keep doubling down and being the movies theyd have won a billion)

Before the last 15 minutes of the film is a believable and honestly and openly depressing tale of degenerate gambling and about how hard it is to win at poker…but like in all casino movies they cant leave it with reality it has to have the happy ending (instead of like real-life where the guy sticks a gun in his mouth) with every broke degenerates dream of an incredible unstoppable run that could never happen in the history of gambling ever and turn their last 100 into a mil or something hitting the 00 in roulette then like all-inning every bet at blackjack and craps and shit and naturally never losing (unlike real-life where if u win 2 hands in a row at blackjack its a miracle)

Ben Mendelshon the "Aussie" best worker right now. Netflix "Bloodline" amazing. He should win the Emmy for his role is in that, he's that great. You can't take your eyes off of him he's mesmerizing and everything he does. He's popular and in high demand in the movie world. He is a true scene stealer. There's almost no reason to watch "bloodline S2" if he's not in it. Just look at his credits and you'll be in awe of what he's done. He's always good. He's even going to be in a "Star Wars" movie. Bad ass ? Benny

this movie is as dry as a chicken bone in a dehydrator in a sauna in the desert and as slow as a turtle on valium with sand bags on his ankles pulling a car.if your going to watch it make sure you drink a few redbulls while doing so and splash your face with ice cold water every 15 minutes.

Right off the bat, I'm betting Ryan's character was hired to squeeze him for the money he owes someone or kill him but develops a friendship with him and helps him in the end.
