In the Heart of the Sea Official Trailer #3 (2015) – Chris Hemsworth Movie HD

In the winter of 1820, the New England whaling ship Essex was assaulted by something no one could believe: a whale of mammoth size and will, and an almost human sense of vengeance. The real-life maritime disaster would inspire Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick. But that told only half the story.

Just a note, this movie isnt so much about the whale (or at least the story isnt) but about what happens to the crew after the whale attacks, its not like this thing maliciously chased down every last whaling boat. in the story it just sinks the ship and leaves. im pretty certain that the clips of the whales attacking the crew boats are gonna be other whales and not moby dick which just sank them and left. The story of what happens to the crew is legendary though, its one of those that while you might think you don't know it the second you look into it it becomes immediately familiar. Not going to give away spoilers openly but i will say the book is worth the read before going into this one.

The book and the true story was about sailors who got trapped at sea and ate each other because a whale sunk their ship. They make it seem like it's Thor vs Moby Dick . This is going to be a flop

Anyone else came here to see what the whale looked like after the Eli Roth interview about MEG? Ive been a fan of Steve Alten for a while and I hope he does MEG the movie justice.
