To all of you die hard bond fans who are getting annoyed at the trailer for the whole "You should name him Bond" line; just watch the series, there's a nice little bit at the end with James Bond's "Birds of the West Indies"…stop complaining when you haven't seen it…

The fact that some guy out of the blue tells Ian Fleming to name his spy Bond is wrong and pisses me off in so many ways. Ian based the name off a book author, the Birds of the West Indies.

Just watched this and was way better than expected… Ian Fleming is definitely more of a questionable type of protagonist though.

Ian Fleming got the name "James Bond" from a book about birdwatching. He was very interested in ornothology.

I wonder if this is endorsed my the Broccoli family. I'm assuming it is because they are having a great Bond Marathon today(premiere is tonight)
